This course is for marketers with experience of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), or those looking to jumpstart their SEO practice.  Learn the latest strategies and tactics used by digital agencies to optimise digital content and increase visibility in Google. From keyword research to competitor analysis, technical considerations to earning links; following the practical tasks included in each section of the course, you’ll take your SEO expertise to the next level.

Peter Phillpot is Commercial Director at SiteVisibility, a full-service digital marketing agency based in Brighton and renowned for their SEO expertise. They’re the founders of BrightonSEO, Europe’s largest search marketing conference. Peter specialises in technical SEO and content analysis, with experience spanning a broad range of industry sectors, developing strategies for major automotive, financial and retail brands.

  • On-Page SEO
    This module explores the use of title tags, meta descriptions and text and how to evaluate and improve content.
  • Keyword Research
    Keyword research is vital aspect of good SEO content writing. This module explores some of the tools and methods that can be used to improve your keyword research.
  • Creative Campaigns
    This module explores some examples of creative campaigns and discusses key aspects of a good campaign.
  • Outreach Techniques
    Collaborating with bloggers and publishers can provide significant increases in traffic. This module looks at techniques for identifying and contacting potential collaborators.
