Membership

BMS represents marketers within the book industry. It champions marketing professionalism and works on co-operative industry projects and events to raise the profile of books and help expand the UK book market. Anyone working for a publisher, bookseller, wholesaler or other associated areas of the book industry is eligible for membership.

Membership is open to anyone and includes:

  • Three Member Meetings a year, with industry and outside speakers on topics of interest to marketers, drinks, networking, and presentations on forthcoming marketing opportunities
  • Eligibility to enter your campaigns for consideration in the BMS Marketing Campaign Awards (both Seasonal and Annual)
  • Post job vacancies and events on the BMS website

Fees

Companies are encouraged to enrol as many people as possible, any of whom can then attend meetings and submit campaigns for the Awards. There are substantial discounts for multiple memberships within a company, as follows:

  • 1 member, £275
  • 2 members, £490
  • 3 members, £655
  • 4 members, £785
  • 5+ members, £890

 

*Freelancers are entitled to a discount of 50% from the single member rate (£137)
